After much anticipation I have finally arrived in Rome! This first week has been a whirlwind to say the least! I am finally getting past the jet lag and becoming acclimated with my surroundings. In this past week there has been so much that has gone on. The guided tours of the ancient city, the amazing nightlife, the friendly people, and the amazing food has made me realized I have found a new home away from home. Missing my boyfriend, Dylan, and my family is always a constant struggle, but this smooth transition into living abroad has given me hope and has gotten me excited for amazing things that are sure to come my way.
